Q:What is Google Scholar?
Google Scholar provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, we can search across many disciplines and sources: peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and other scholarly organizations. Google Scholar helps us identify the most relevant research across the world of scholarly research.
Q: What are peer-reviewed journals?
A scholarly periodical which requires that each article submitted for publication be judged by an independent panel of experts. Articles not approved by a majority of these peers are not accepted for publication by the journal.
3. What is Intute? Do you know any other similar sites?
Intute is a free Web service aimed at students, teachers, and researchers in higher education . Intute provides access to online resources, via a large database of resources.
I heard, http://www.eric.ed.gov/ and http://research.mla.gov.uk/ this two website also provide to access to online resource but, sometimes they do not give free service.
4. How can you tell if a website is a reliable source of information?
Firstly we need to understand about the topics then we need to identify what information i will need. After that if we will get this information perfectly or get a perfect guideline about to find out this information then I can believe that, this website is a reliable source of information.
